FAQ’s

PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP AND REGISTRATION:
All DGA’s experts are registered practitioner psychologists with the Health Professions Council (HCPC) the necessary minimum to be able to practice legally. Most of our associates have  other affiliations too, most commonly with the British Psychological Society who afford them chartered status.

FEES:
DGA’s hourly fees are in accordance with Legal Aid Agency Rates. All the assessments are also produced within LAA timescales, i.e. a maximum of 25 hours for one individual, 35 hours for two and 45 hours for three or more. Estimates are always provided in advance of work taking place.

Regarding privately funded cases, please contact DGA for fees which are means assessed.

TIMESCALES:
Our associates understand that produced  reports in a timely manner is essential not only for the Courts, but also because this is in the interests of those being assessed. As such, most are able to provide rapid turnaround from receiving instructions.

LOCATION:
DGA’s associates are based nationwide and able to accommodate assessments within England, Wales and the Channel Islands.

PRIVACY:
